Neighbourhood Watch is a scheme to make neighbourhoods safer for local communities.
We have a Warren Wood Neighbourhood Watch Alerts WhatsApp Group and we encourage all residents to join. This will facilitate rapid communication of potential criminal acts on our estate. Please contact Rosie Lewry to join.
The WhatsApp Group has replaced the original WW NHW Alerts group that relied on area coordinators through communication using alerts@wwra.co.uk.
General safety is an issue with road traffic increasing, especially on the approach to Warren Wood estate with delivery vans, learner drivers and people parking. Parking on the estate at certain times of the week does cause problems, therefore can we ALL please watch our SPEED. We do have children playing on the green and the footpath’s and their safety is paramount.
In addition, we would like all residents to pay careful attention in how they park and how this may inconvenience their neighbours. For example there are difficult decisions to be made with the increase in residents cars between not blocking the footpath (especially for pushchair users) and not blocking the road to traffic.
